Overview

The XBZ□ series prefabricated substation is designed for 6 kV and 10 kV ring main, dual-power, or terminal distribution systems, serving as high-voltage distribution metering, compensation control, and protection equipment. In addition to the transformer, the unit is equipped with a four-position load break switch, two-position load break switch, backup protection fuse, and plug-in fuses on the high-voltage side. The low-voltage side can be fitted with control and distribution devices, compensation units, and energy meters according to user requirements.

Suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation, this series is widely used in industrial parks, residential communities, commercial centers, high-rise buildings, and other locations.

Structural Features

The American-style pad-mounted transformer is divided into two main sections:Front section (high/low voltage operating compartment): Contains high-voltage terminals, load break switch, off-circuit tap changer, plug-in fuses, pressure relief device, oil thermometer, oil level gauge, and oil drain valve.Rear section (oil-immersed compartment): Houses the oil-filled tank, heat radiator, transformer windings and core, high-voltage load break switch, and protective fuses, all submerged in insulating oil.

Performance Features

1. Compact size and structure, with a footprint only about 1/3 of domestic box-type substations of the same capacity.

2. Fully sealed and fully insulated design eliminates the need for safety clearances, ensuring reliable personnel safety.

3. Suitable for both ring main and terminal distribution systems, with flexible conversion to improve power supply reliability.

4. Low losses, lower than those of domestic S9-type transformers.

5. Cable connectors can carry 200A load current, and can be operated as a load break switch in emergency situations, also featuring disconnector characteristics.

6. Dual-fuse protection reduces operating costs. The fuse link of the plug-in fuse is a dual-element type (temperature and current sensitive).

7. Adopts a Δ-Y connection and three-phase five-limb structure, offering advantages such as high voltage quality, no neutral point drift, no cabinet heating, low noise, and excellent lightning protection.
