Product Overview

The PRNT-15.5 is a high-voltage fuse for overload protection of oil-immersed transformers. It is suitable for indoor AC power systems with a frequency of 50 Hz, rated voltage of 15.5 kV, and rated current up to 140 A.

It must be used in series with the XRNT-15.5 backup fuse for short-circuit protection of oil-immersed transformers to provide combined overload and short-circuit protection for power transformers, i.e., full-range protection. In this configuration, the PRNT-15.5 is specifically used to protect against secondary-side short-circuit faults and low-level fault currents in the transformer.
