Product Overview

The 17/50kV European-type rear-connected arrester provides reliable overvoltage protection for electrical systems. The outer semi-conductive layer of the shielded arrester ensures the personal safety of installation and maintenance personnel as well as the safe operation of equipment. Meanwhile, its unique properties such as UV resistance, aging resistance, water resistance and moisture resistance ensure the safe and reliable operation of the product in harsh environments.

The European-type rear-connected arrester works in conjunction with European-type front connectors to ensure the safe operation of the power grid.

Product Construction

Insulation Layer: A proprietary formula and mixing technology ensure the high quality of the EPDM insulation rubber.

Outer Semi-conductive Layer: The pre-molded EPDM conductive rubber complies with IEEE 592 standards.

Arrester Core: Consists of zinc oxide arrester discs processed with special technology.

Copper Base Housing: The copper base housing is tightly bonded to the outer conductive layer of the arrester, effectively waterproofing the arrester and providing a grounding point.

Grounding Wire: The built-in grounding wire at the lower end of the arrester is used to effectively conduct lightning impulse voltage to the grounding position.

Inner Semi-conductive Layer: The pre-molded EPDM conductive rubber effectively controls electrical stress.

Stud Bolts: Tin-plated copper bolts ensure a tight fit between the conductor and the bushing.

Insulator End Cap: Provides insulating and sealing functions for the product.
