Description

The working principle of the 2DX cable-type short-circuit indicator is identical to that of the 1DX overhead-type short-circuit indicator.

The overhead type (1DX) is used on overhead lines (both bare and insulated conductors).

The cable type (2DX) is used on cable lines in ring main units, switch cabinets, and box-type substations.

When a short-circuit fault occurs in the line, the flip flag of the indicator turns red to show the fault.

Installation Method

Open the spring clip on the back of the indicator, then clamp the indicator onto the cable to complete the installation.

Note: The functions, performance benefits, technical specifications, and working principle are the same as those of the 1DX model.
