Overview
The S(Z) series 10kV transformers are mainly used in power transmission and distribution systems as power transmission and distribution equipment. This series features low loss, low noise, low temperature rise, high reliability, as well as no need for core lifting and zero leakage. All performance indicators meet the advanced level of similar domestic products. It is widely applicable to high-rise buildings, commercial centers, subways, airports, railway stations, industrial and mining enterprises, drilling platforms, oil production platforms and other locations.
Operating Environmental Conditions
1. Ambient air temperature: Upper limit +40°C, lower limit -25°C.
2. Altitude: ≤1000m (Note: If altitude exceeds 1000m, please specify detailed requirements when placing an order.)
3. Wind pressure: Not exceeding 700Pa (equivalent to wind speed of 34m/s).
4. Seismic intensity: Not exceeding Level 8.
5. Pollution class: Class IV.
6. Maximum daily temperature difference: Not exceeding 25°C.
7. Installation site: Free of flammable materials, explosion hazards, chemical corrosion and severe vibration.

Model Meaning

Fully-Sealed (M)
The letter M in the model indicates that the tank adopts a fully-sealed structure. Compared with ordinary oil-immersed transformers, fully-sealed distribution transformers eliminate the conservator. The corrugated tank replaces the oil pipe as the cooling and heat-dissipating element. The corrugated tank is made of high-quality cold-rolled steel sheets on a dedicated production line. The corrugations expand and contract with the volume change of the transformer, isolating the transformer from the atmosphere. This prevents or slows oil aging and insulation moisture ingress, enhances operational reliability, and enables maintenance-free operation under normal conditions.
The surface of the corrugated tank is degreased, derusted, phosphated, and then coated with a three-proof (rainproof, moisture-proof, salt spray-proof) paint, making it suitable for use in metallurgy, petrochemical, mining, and other environments.

Wound Core (R)
The letter R in the model indicates that the core adopts a wound core, made of high-quality low-loss cold-rolled silicon steel sheets. The process eliminates the need for slitting and punching, removing the transverse and longitudinal joints of traditional cores. This results in lower no-load current and even lower no-load loss for the transformer. It also achieves lower noise levels, making the transformer more environmentally friendly.
The monolithic core and clamps mainly serve to tighten the windings, further enhancing the windings' resistance to short-circuit currents.

High-Quality Materials
Oxygen-free copper wire: With lower resistivity and a series of additional surface treatments, it is smoother and free of burrs and sharp edges, reducing the transformer's load loss and improving electrical performance reliability.
High-quality laminated wood insulation: Resistant to cracking, even under the action of short-circuit currents, the insulation does not shift or crack.
Deep-filtered transformer oil: With lower water content, gas content, and impurity levels, it ensures more reliable transformer operation.
Quality control: All raw materials undergo strict quality inspection, and all raw material suppliers have passed strict audits in accordance with national standards and ISO 9000.
