Scope of Application

Model HSLQ1-63 automatic transfer switching equipment for dual power supply (hereinafter referred to as the transfer switch) is applicable to dual-circuit power supply systems with AC 50 Hz or 60 Hz, rated operational voltage of 400 V and rated operational current up to 63 A. It enables selective switching between two power sources as required.The product is equipped with protection against short circuit, overload, undervoltage and loss of voltage, as well as functions for fire control linkage, double-break and closing signal output. It is particularly suitable for installation on lighting circuits of office buildings, shopping malls, banks, railway stations, hospitals and high-rise buildings subject to fire protection requirements.

This product complies with Standard GB/T 14048.11.

Normal Operating Conditions

1. The upper limit of ambient air temperature shall not exceed +40°C, and the lower limit shall not be lower than -5°C; the 24-hour average temperature shall not exceed +35°C.

2. The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000 m above sea level.

3. The relative atmospheric humidity shall not exceed 50% at an ambient temperature of +40°C, while higher humidity is permitted at lower temperatures. Where the average minimum temperature of the wettest month is +25°C, the maximum monthly average relative humidity is 90%. Special precautions shall be taken against condensation formed on the product surface due to humidity fluctuations.

5. The operating site shall be free from severe vibration and impact, corrosive gases detrimental to insulation, heavy dust, conductive particles, explosive hazardous substances and intense electromagnetic interference.

Product Performance

1. The transfer switch is integrated by two miniature circuit breakers together with an electric motor and mechanical transmission device. Its controller monitors two incoming power sources. Upon abnormal circuit conditions, the controller performs logical judgment based on measured signals and drives the operating mechanism to open or close contacts per control commands, ensuring safe and reliable power supply to loads.

10. Under standard configuration, the transfer switch features auto-switch-on & auto-reversion function with priority to the normal power supply. For special applications requiring auto-switch-on without auto-reversion, customized products can be agreed upon between end users and the manufacturer.

When manual operation of the transfer switch is required:For HSLQ1-63 Economy (Terminal Type): set the pushbutton switch to manual mode first, then rotate the operating handle to switch between normal and standby power supply.For HSLQ1-63 Intelligent Type: press the Manual/Auto pushbutton; switching between normal and standby supply is permitted only after the manual indicator lamp lights up. Shift the control mode to automatic position to enable the automatic operation of the transfer switch, with priority assigned to the normal power supply.

After wiring the transfer switch per the wiring drawing and applying rated power: if both normal and standby power sources are in good condition, the red indicator lamps for normal/standby supply will illuminate, indicating normal operation of the transfer switch.
