Scope of Application
The HSLQ2Z Series Automatic Transfer Switch (abbreviated as ATS) is mainly composed of two high breaking-capacity KCMI-series circuit breakers and an in-house developed dedicated ATS controller. It is applicable to dual-circuit power supply systems with rated voltage 400V, 50Hz and rated current up to 800A, serving Class-I loads (no power cut permitted) and partial Class-II loads for high-rise buildings, hospitals, shopping malls, banks, fire-fighting facilities, chemical & metallurgical plants and military installations. It realizes automatic source switching to guarantee reliable power supply for critical end-users.This product complies with standards GB/T 14048.11-2002 and IEC 60947-6-1(1998) Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear – Automatic transfer switching equipment.
Model Definition

Note
Integrated Type: The controller and main switching body are assembled onto one shared base plate.
Split Type: The controller is separated from the main body, and connected via dedicated cables and connectors.
Normal Operating Conditions
1.Ambient Air Temperature:
Upper limit: ≤ +40℃
Lower limit: ≥ -5℃
Average temperature within any 24-hour period shall not exceed +35℃.
2.Installation Site:
The installation altitude shall not exceed 2000 meters above sea level.
3.Atmospheric Conditions:
Relative humidity shall not exceed 50% at +40℃; higher relative humidity is permitted at lower ambient temperatures. The average relative humidity is 90% at 25℃ (monthly average minimum temperature of the wettest month), and dew condensation on the product surface due to temperature fluctuation shall be taken into account.
4.Service Environment:
The ATS shall be installed in dry environments free of conductive dust, corrosive, flammable and explosive gases; avoid rain splash and water ingress. The equipment shall be protected against impact and vibration, with installation tilt angle no more than 5°. The external magnetic field at the installation location shall not exceed five times the geomagnetic field in any direction.
Performance Features
The HSLQ2Z series Automatic Transfer Switch is equipped with comprehensive detection and protection functions. Adopting a high-speed single-chip embedded microprocessor as the main control chip, it monitors real-time power supply status to guarantee highly reliable operation of the power distribution system.
1.It features dual protection of mechanical interlock and electrical interlock to prevent simultaneous closing of the two circuit breakers.
2.Six control operation modes are available: Manual Control, Auto-switch & Auto-revert, Normal Power Supply, Standby Power Supply, Re-closure after Power Failure, and Auto-switch without Auto-revert.
3. Equipped with under-voltage, over-voltage and phase-loss protection to prevent faulty power from supplying loads.
4. Provides alarm and indication functions for faults such as power failure and circuit breaker tripping.
5. Prevents accidental reclosing: after the breaker trips due to short-circuit or overload on load side, automatic re-close is prohibited.
6. Adjustable operational parameters including under-voltage threshold, over-voltage threshold, opening delay and closing delay; LCD synchronously displays phase voltages of two power sources with full-Chinese menu for real-time parameter checking.
7. Built-in fire control interface: upon receiving DC24V fire emergency signal (user-selectable control voltage), the controller instantly outputs a relay contact to cut off relevant circuits rapidly.
8. Equipped with RS485 and RS232C serial communication ports supporting Modbus protocol.
