Application Scope

HSLU1 series surge protective devices (SPD) are designed for 50Hz AC power circuits with rated operating voltages of 220V and 380V, to limit transient overvoltages induced by lightning surge and switching operation.

Installed in locations with high overvoltage category, the SPD downgrades the overvoltage category by one level for protected electrical equipment and components. When deployed at load terminals, it further suppresses surge voltage to safeguard televisions, high-fidelity audio systems, air conditioners, computers and other appliances. It is widely applied in telecommunications, postal services, railway, computer system and construction sectors.
