Scope of Application
The HSLM1 series moulded case circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as the circuit breaker) is a new-type circuit breaker independently developed by our company with internationally advanced design and manufacturing technologies.It has a rated insulation voltage of 800 V (500 V for the HSLM1-63 model). Suitable for AC 50 Hz circuits with a rated operational voltage of 690 V and below (400 V for the HSLM1-63 model) and rated operational current up to 800 A, it is applied for infrequent circuit switching and infrequent motor startup.Equipped with overload, short-circuit and under-voltage protection functions, the circuit breaker prevents damage to power lines and power supply equipment.
Classified by the rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu), the circuit breakers fall into three types: Type L (Standard Type), Type M (Medium High Breaking Capacity Type) and Type H (High Breaking Capacity Type).Featuring compact size, high breaking capacity, short arcing distance (zero arcing for partial specifications) and excellent vibration resistance, this series serves as an ideal choice for land and marine applications.
1、This circuit breaker supports vertical mounting as well as horizontal mounting.
2、Reverse incoming wiring is prohibited. Terminals 1, 3 and 5 shall be connected to power supply cables, while terminals 2, 4 and 6 shall be connected to load cables.

Normal Operating Conditions
1、Altitude of 2,000 meters or below;
2、Ambient medium temperature ranging from a maximum of +40°C (+45°C for marine products) to a minimum of -5°C;
3、Resistant to the effects of humid air;
4、Resistant to the effects of salt mist and oil mist;
5、Resistant to the effects of mould;
6、Maximum inclination angle of ±22.5°;
7、Capable of reliable operation under normal marine vibration;
8、Capable of reliable operation under seismic conditions (4g);
9、Installed in locations free from rain and snow exposure;
10、Deployed in media with no explosion hazards, where the medium contains no gases or conductive dust that could corrode metals or damage insulation.
Model Designation & Its Definition
The model designation and its meaning are as follows:

1.Circuit breakers for power distribution carry no code identifier; those for motor protection are marked with digit 2.
2.No code for direct handle operation; electric operation is denoted by letter P; rotary handle operation is represented by letter Z.
Classified by product pole number, there are 2-pole (100A, 225A), 3-pole and 4-pole models (the HSLM1-800 series has no 4-pole variant). The neutral pole (N-pole) of 4-pole products is available in four types:
Classification by Rated Current (A):
HSLM1-63: 9 current ratings including (6), 10, 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50 and 63A (the 6A version is not equipped with overload protection);
HSLM1-100: 10 current ratings including (10), 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 63, 80 and 100A;
HSLM1-160: 4 current ratings: 100, 125, 140 and 160A;
HSLM1-225: 7 current ratings: 100, 125, 140, 160, 180, 200 and 225A;
HSLM1-400: 5 current ratings: 225, 250, 315, 350 and 400A;
HSLM1-630: 3 current ratings: 400, 500 and 630A;
HSLM1-800: 3 current ratings: 630, 700 and 800A.[Specifications enclosed in parentheses are not recommended]
It is classified into three types by wiring mode: front-panel wiring, rear-panel wiring and plug-in type.
Classified by the type of overcurrent tripper, there are two types: thermal-magnetic (composite) type and magnetic (instantaneous) type.
Protective Characteristics
The thermal trip unit of the circuit breaker features inverse time-lag characteristics; the magnetic trip unit operates instantaneously. For relevant parameters, refer to Table 3 (for power distribution applications) and Table 4 (for motor protection applications).
